It’s almost football season and I cannnot wait. I am going to go see my Dawgs play the Ducks at the end of next month down at Autzen. I cannot wait. My friend is a Ducks season ticket holder and offered to take me. Each year webet on the game and the loser has to wear the winner’s teams shirt the next season before the game. I am on a losing streak that hopefully will be reversed. I have faith in Jake Locker. There would be nothing I would like better than for the Dawgs to go down to Autzen and stick it to them. Their fans live in a dream world where each year they are “robbed” out of a chance at a national title. They also forget that they were also rans for years and years, much like the Bitter Beavs. The way they talk about hte Ducks, you’d think they were A vaunted program like Miami, Michigan, Notre Dame or Nebraska. Now, the U’s fallen on tough times, BUT we will overcome. So for all you Duck fans, Bow Down!
More than my Huskies, I am looking forward to the NFL season and my Hawks. We’re aging, but we’ve got a great defense and we should run the ball much better this year. I would LOVE to see another Super Bowl run. Now, while I called out the Duck fans for saying they get screwed out of titles, my Hawks got bent over and stuffed by the refs in the Super Bowl against Pittsburgh. Play after play, poor call after poor call. I’d love to see Holmgren retire with another Super Bowl!
Now a bit of sadness is going to hit me this NBA season. My Sonics are in Oklaoma thanks to David Stern and Clay Bennett. Seatttle refused to pay 100% of the costs of a new stadium for Bennett, so Bennett, with the help of that asshole Stern took a team with a 40 year history and moved them to Oklahoma City. What a joke. Bennett is one of the biggest pieces of crap around. The way he acted towards the city and the fans is something I will never forget. He has no class and I hope that he loses his ass. As for Stern, you’re pathetic. You let this lowlife take away a team that has a fanbase going back 40 years and move them to a much smaller market. You deserve the absolute worst in life. I wish you an eternity of misery. You’re even more pathetic than Bennett. You had a chance to stop the wrong he was doing and you didn’t. If your are ever walking down the street and your heart stops, I hope people turn their backs on you like you turned your back on an entire city and its fans.
So I need to end this in a better mood then I started it in. Today I leave you with some Pearl Jam. They are the best live band I have ever seen and I believe that this is their best live song. I hope you enjoy.
