I fought it and fouht it. For a week I told my wife I had no interest in Facebook. I already had a MySpace account that I had quit using. Well, no I have cancelled MySpace and gone to Facebook. I am becoming addicted. Not only did I find that a bunch of my friends signed up at the same time I did, but I am finding a lot more people I went to school with are on Facebook. I think the issue with MySpace was that there was more to it. Facebook is user friendly. The past compple nights, my wife and I have been playing Scrabble through Facebook. We have the game, but this way, my wife cannot accuse me of cheating. it is kind of odd though talking through chat when we are sitting right across from each other…
The one complaint I have is that between the time my wife signed up and I signed up, Facebook went to a new style. It’s harder to understand this style. As an example, my wife cannot ever find my flair. Oh well. I have flair my wife probably doesn’t want to see.
So, got a new game for my 360 this week. Star Wars: Force Unleashed. The reviews were disappointing, but since I ordered it half a year ago, I wasn ‘t about to cancel it. I have been reading about the game for 2+ years, so I have been prepared to see it through. I am impressed with the game so far. The big complaint has been the targeting system and so fat, it has not been as bas as I thought it might. Maybe it will get worse further along in the game, but after about 2 hours, I’mm happy with it. The graphics are really good, teh story is great and I love playing the bad guys. This game really is all about using Force Powers and destroying everything. It’s a lot of fun and I would recommend it. My 7 year old loves it. In fact, he was so excited when it came in the mail, he held the CD until I came home.
Early tommorrow is the Chelsea v Man Utd game. Should be great, they expect 500 million people to watch worldwide. That’s a huge audience. Unfortunately for me, it is on at 6:00AM. I will have to DVR and try to watch it prior to NFL. Hopefully the Seahawks will recover this time.
